Sometimes we miss our partner and desire to be with them so much but distance won’t let us be with them. But love is stronger than the barriers of distance. The farthest distance is when she is just beside you but you can’t tell her you love her. Love will remain if you are true to each other even if it has to be from a distance. Though we are miles apart, I will love you more everyday…till I can be with you and me in your arms again. True love doesn’t mean being inseparable; it means being separated and nothing changes. Distance is to love like wind is to fire…it extinguishes the small and kindles the great. Distance is not for the fearful, it is for the bold. It’s for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for a little time with the one they love. It’s for those knowing a good thing when they see it even if they don’t see it nearly enough. If you are in a long distance relationship, don’t measure the distance instead measure the love. Distance means so little when someone means so much. Absence sharpens love, presence strengthens it. Absence diminishes small love and increases great ones just as wind blows out the candle and blows up the bonfire. Though space restraints us from being together, one thing I am sure of is that there are no spaces in my heart that restrains me from loving you. A part of you has grown in me. It’s not the distance that is the enemy but the endless time I have to wait until I hold you in my arms. They say “out of sight, out of mind” but how can that be true? You are not here yet I can’t let you out of my mind. Your absence has not taught me how to be alone but it has shown me that when together, we cast a single shadow on the wall.
